What to Donate — and What to Skip
The Mustard Seed gladly accepts most donated items. While there are a few items we’re unable to accept, you’ll find a detailed list below to help guide your donations. When we receive items that we cannot use or sell in our shop, we do our best to pass them along to other local charities where they can still be a blessing. If you have any questions about donating, please stop by the store or email us — we’re always happy to help and answer any questions you may have!
When dropping off donations outside of store hours, please place all items in the brown shed located next to our door. This helps protect donations from the weather and keeps everything safe and dry. Thank you for your generosity!
Accepted Items
We accept a wide variety of donated items, including clothing and shoes for all ages, children’s items, electronics, entertainment items, home décor, jewelry, outdoor items, small kitchen appliances, beauty items, puzzles, books, crafts, games, blankets, kitchenware, holiday items, and more.
Non-accepted Items
To help us best serve our community, there are a few items we’re unable to accept. These include broken or damaged items such as toys, electronics, or glass; underwear and bras; ripped or stained clothing; large furniture; large appliances; and food items. We truly appreciate your understanding and your continued support of The Mustard Seed.
