Our Story
The Mustard Seed Thrift Shop is a community-rooted ministry of Grace Episcopal Church in Elkridge, created with one simple purpose: to serve others with generosity, dignity, and compassion.

More than a place to shop, The Mustard Seed is a welcoming space where neighbors come together. Inside, you’ll find gently used clothing, household items, jewelry, books, home décor, and unexpected treasures—all thoughtfully priced so everyone can shop with ease and confidence. Every visit offers something new, and every purchase makes a difference.

Proceeds from the shop directly support local outreach efforts and the broader mission of Grace Episcopal Church, helping meet real needs within the Elkridge community and beyond. From assisting families and individuals to supporting partner organizations, each sale helps plant seeds of hope, care, and connection.

Located at 6725 Montgomery Road in Elkridge, Maryland, The Mustard Seed thrives thanks to generous donations, dedicated volunteers, and compassionate shoppers who believe in giving back. Items that do not sell are thoughtfully shared through the shop’s free cart or donated to trusted organizations such as Vietnam Veterans of America, Dress for Success, Grassroots, local animal shelters, and other community partners—ensuring that nothing goes to waste and help reaches where it’s needed most.
